SAP VMS Lead

Introduction:

The SAP VMS Lead is a hands-on role that will provide SAP Functional design leadership and direction as a part of the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) within the Information Technology organization. This position will lead the functional/solution architecture and design support for the SAP S4/HANA system in the areas of VMS (Vehicle Management System) and OTC (Order to Cash) for our Distribution and vehicle processing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, gather, and analyze business requirements and translate into SAP application requirements for the business.
  • Design and implement SAP solutions to address business requirements.
  • Provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and problem resolution.
  • Lead the functional design of WRICEFs for Distribution and VPC Operations.
  • Research new knowledge and collaborate on solutions for the SAP environment.
  • Support the development team to define and document solution design.
  • Collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines are followed.

Requirements:

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP VMS, Sales & Distribution with at least 1 end-to-end SAP VMS implementation.
  • Experience with SAP ERP implementation projects and SAP S/4 Hana.
  • Strong understanding of SAP releases, patches, and OSS notes.
  • Bachelor''s degree in a related field.

Preferred:

  • SAP certification(s).
  • Experience in preparing Process and Functional Design documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence organizational stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

The associate is required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and occasionally travel to other sites. The ability to move up to 25 pounds may be required.

Work Environment:

The job is generally performed in an office environment, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to different conditions such as wet/humid areas, loud noise levels, and outside weather conditions. Minimal travel is required for this position.

Travel Required:

The associate will work from the Houston Client Corporate Campus and may occasionally be required to be at the Vehicle Processing Center for business purposes.
