AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, authentication, authorization, and access management.

• Experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure development and deployment.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployment workflows.

• Experience managing enterprise AWS environments and production systems.

• Knowledge of AWS networking, encryption, secrets management, monitoring, backup, and recovery.

• Scripting and automation experience using Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Bash.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or CodeBuild.

• Experience building reusable AWS CDK components and deployment standards.

• Knowledge of containerized and serverless AWS applications.

• Experience in energy trading, power markets, utilities, renewable energy, or forecasting.

• Familiarity with North American power markets such as ERCOT, PJM, and MISO.

• Experience in security-focused or regulated environments.

• AWS certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Manage user access, IAM roles, policies, and security permissions.

• Implement Amazon Cognito authentication when required.

• Develop reusable infrastructure using AWS CDK.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.

• Automate cloud environment setup, testing, releases, and rollbacks.

• Implement cloud networking, encryption, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and alerts.

• Ensure reliable operations through backup, disaster recovery, and resiliency planning.
