Work model: 50% telecommuting, 50% Office per week in Albany, NY

--- Project Description ---
Application architect and developer using Java, OpenText Exstream Cloud
Native, Cobol and DB2 to assemble data and create correspondence for mailing.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Production support of existing applications
2. Analysis, design, coding, and unit/integration testing
3. Create and update program specification and detail design documentation
4. Application performance tuning
5. Mentor junior programmers
6. Application development for modernization effort

--- Required Qualifications ---
72 months of experience with Java programming in an IBM environment
development using an eclipse based IDE
84 months of experience developing tax processing systems in a federal, state
or municipal agency
84 months installing, configuring, patching, testing Open Text Exstream
software and architecting the design of complex business applications
84 months of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience
84 months of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience
