Job Description HII, Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Production Intern for their Syracuse, NY Operations. This position will support Production Operations through collaboration with cross functional teams, including Technicians, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Test Engineering, Parts Production Control, Engineering, and Program Management.
Position will work onsite at our Syracuse, New York location.
Essential Job Responsibilities - Assist with the day-to-day manufacturing operations, which will include overseeing processes and ensuring production goals are met.
- Engage in proposals involving manufacturing content, estimates and/or concept of operation development.
- Develop and track key metrics in support of production operations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 20% and 40% of the required credits completed.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed.
- Ability to work both in a team and individually.
Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
