Senior Systems Integration Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to design, implement, and support integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with APIs, middleware, cloud technologies, and system architecture to ensure seamless data exchange and business process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain system integrations across enterprise applications.
• Build and support REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
• Integrate cloud and on-premises applications using industry-standard integration tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to define integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain integration documentation, technical specifications, and support guides.
• Implement security, authentication, and data governance best practices for integrations.
• Monitor integration performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on integration projects.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with system integration, APIs, and enterprise application integration (EAI).
• Proficiency in REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, or Apache Kafka).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with authentication and security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or HRMS integrations (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Workday).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates.
