Role - Oracle EBS Reports Developer

Location - Burbank, CA (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are looking for a mid-level Oracle EBS Reports Developer / Builder to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using Oracle Reports and Power BI. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and database teams to translate complex data requirements into clear, actionable reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.

What You ll Do

Oracle Report Development

• Design, develop, and maintain reports using Oracle Reports (6i/10g/11g) or Oracle BI Publisher.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting logic.
• Convert legacy Oracle Reports to modern formats or migrate to Oracle BI Publisher as needed.
• Debug, tune, and maintain existing reports to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate Oracle Reports with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or other enterprise applications.
• Experience with either BI publisher or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) may help.

Power BI Development

• Prior experience in Power BI reports development or ability to quickly learn Power BI on the job.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports from Oracle and other data sources.
• Develop and maintain Power BI data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns.
• Connect Power BI to Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Lake or Oracle Database using appropriate connectors, DirectQuery, or import mode.
• Apply row-level security (RLS) and manage Power BI workspace access and report distribution.
• Optimize report performance by reducing query load and improving data model design.

On your first day, we ll expect you to have:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Reports development (Oracle Reports 6i/10g/11g or BI Publisher)
• 2+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Solid PL/SQL skills -- queries, stored procedures, cursors, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules (Manufacturing, SCM, Finance, HRMS, or similar).
• Understanding Oracle EBS database schemas & tables to extract and curate data for reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with Oracle database architecture, schemas, and data warehouse concepts.

Technical Proficiency

• Oracle Reports Designer / BI Publisher -- layout design, parameters, triggers, and bursting.
• Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service -- data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M language).
• SQL and PL/SQL -- complex joins, analytic functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Understanding ETL concepts and data flow from source systems to reporting layers.
• Version control practices using Git or similar tools.

We d Be Excited If You Also Have

• Experience with Oracle OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), or Fusion Analytics.
• Exposure Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
• Knowledge of XML/XSL-FO for BI Publisher template customization.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation or pre-processing.
• Power BI Premium or Power BI Embedded experience.
