Systems Analyst (Legal Operations)

Job Summary

For this role, we are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Operations Business Analyst to serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear technical requirements that guide understanding of the problem statement, solution design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a structured problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Location - Austin

Years of experience needed

• 8 - 10 years of strong hands-on experience in business analysis, program or product management, management consulting role.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily ticket triage, ensuring all reported issues are categorized and prioritized. Maintain full ownership of the lifecycle of a ticket, from initial intake to final resolution
• Partner closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex system behaviors and identify the underlying root causes rather than just addressing symptoms
• Serve as the primary bridge between Business Users and IT (IS&T) to resolve technical and functional issues within eBilling and Matter Management ecosystem
• Facilitate daily and weekly syncs to provide transparent status updates and ensure alignment on critical issue resolution
• Develop comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and perform UAT testing (Team Connect) as needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-impact enhancements are prioritized within the monthly or quarterly development cycles
• Support is needed in various matter management and billing transformation projects
