Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Active Directory in enterprise environments • Strong knowledge of Active Directory architecture, replication, and group policy management • Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022 or newer) • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and network protocols • Experience with directory synchronization tools (Azure AD Connect, Okta, or similar) • Understanding of security principles, least privilege access, and compliance requirements • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and documentation abilities • CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator certification (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar advanced certification • Experience with hybrid cloud identity solutions (Azure AD/Entra ID) • Knowledge of LDAP, Kerberos, and SAML protocols • Experience with privileged access management (PAM) solutions • Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems • Experience in healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to perform the following physical activities:
• Sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation • Use keyboard and mouse for data entry and system administration tasks • Lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis • Stand and walk for extended periods during infrastructure installations and maintenance • Bend, stoop, and reach to access server racks, cabling, and network equipment • Perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists • Travel to multiple office locations or data centers as needed for maintenance and support • Work extended hours during system maintenance windows, upgrades, or emergency situations • Communicate clearly via phone, video conference, and in-person meetings
