We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Design Engineer to join our team. This role is an unparalleled opportunity to become part of a leading firm within the engineering industry. You will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components and systems in accordance with the IBC, CBC, and ASCE 7 standards.
- Utilize design software such as ETABS, AUTOCAD, and RAM for the development and analysis of structural systems.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of damages and failures to structures.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients on job sites to ensure the structural integrity of the project.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and design team members.
- Manage and lead multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in the review and resolution of field construction issues/problems/questions.
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5 years of experience preferred ( WIll take graduating students)
- EIT Certification is required; Professional Engineer License is preferred.
- Proficient in IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ETABS, AUTOCAD, and RAM.
- Strong understanding of modern design and construction methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
