Summary
Business Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst Level 2 with a strong combination of functional analysis, data analytics, and workflow automation expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, advanced Excel, SQL, APIs, and AI-powered productivity tools.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, developing reporting solutions, and translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to streamline operations, improve reporting capabilities, and support successful implementation of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions using Power BI.
- Build and support automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Utilize advanced Excel and SQL to extract, analyze, manipulate, and validate business data.
- Work with APIs, data integrations, and enterprise systems to support seamless data exchange.
- Leverage AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to improve business analysis and productivity.
- Develop future-state process models, workflow diagrams, and functional solution designs.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case development, defect tracking, and validation.
- Coordinate implementation activities and support production deployments.
- Use Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, project documentation, and Agile delivery activities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor implemented solutions and recommend continuous process improvements.
Requirements
<>Required Skills- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data analytics or process automation environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and data querying.
- Experience with APIs, data integration, and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of AI-powered tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and process mapping.
- Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience supporting UAT, testing, and production implementation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience automating manual and repetitive business processes.
- Knowledge of enterprise workflow automation and system integrations.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted business analysis and productivity solutions.
- Experience developing data-driven business insights and management reports.
- Ability to work across technical and business teams in a fast-paced environment.
