Description
Our client recently invested in Datadog as their network monitoring tool. As a result, they want to bring someone onto the team with strong experience setting up and maintaining Datadog. This person will support their infrastructure and monitoring needs. This is not a devops role; it is a network monitoring role and candidates will need experience with SNMP and NDM (network device management).
Qualified Candidates will have the following experience:
Initial Datadog setup and configuration (metrics-focused)
Designing and implementing a Datadog tagging architecture (standards, consistency, and best practices across infrastructure)
Ongoing maintenance, tuning, dashboards, and alerting best practices
Windows Server monitoring
Linux environments (RHEL and Ubuntu)
Network equipment monitoring (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto)
SNMP-based monitoring
Nice-to-haves:
Syslog ingestion and analysis
Integrations with ServiceNow (incident/event workflows)
Experience operating Datadog in a large or enterprise-scale environment
Ability to help document standards and mentor internal teams on metrics and dashboards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
