Job Description:
Join a team focused on enhancing digital accessibility for state services. As a Digital Accessibility Tester, you will conduct manual testing of digital assets to ensure compliance with accessibility standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate accessibility issues, ultimately improving the user experience for residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual accessibility testing on websites, applications, and digital assets.
• Develop and maintain test cases and documentation for auditing accessibility compliance.
• Collaborate with developers and teams to facilitate effective remediation of identified issues.
• Stay updated on WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 standards to ensure current compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of digital accessibility testing experience.
• Proficient in HTML, ARIA, and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, etc.).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
• Ability to document and present testing results effectively.
• Experience with accessibility tools like Axe, Wave, and browser devtools.
