Compensation:$27+ hourly DOE
Responsibilities:- Safely operate and control multiple boilers across different types of fuels
- Preventative maintenance of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and support equipment
- Pump maintenance, as well as piping and valve needs
- Daily checks and logs during shift to ensure optimum operation, including water testing and chemical additions
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the scope of operation
- Electrical work as needed- 24 volt DC control voltage up to 480 volt 3 phase AC to include switches and VFDs
- Facility upkeep and improvements
- Ability to learn and train others on the plant system
- This position is safety sensitive
Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of plant boiler/ powerhouse operation
- Strong skills in welding, pipefitting, and power tools
- Ability to work around process chemicals
- Understanding of powerhouse equipment and the continual improvement process
