Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with strong expertise in implementing and supporting MDG solutions on SAP S/4HANA. The role involves designing, configuring, and supporting governance processes for Customer, Vendor, and Material master data, while collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure high data quality and efficient governance workflows.
Description

• Implement and support SAP MDG solutions for Customer, Vendor, and Material master data.
• Perform data model enhancements including entity creation, attributes, validations, and custom tables.
• Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF), Data Import/Export Framework (DIF/DEF), and BRF+ rules.
• Design and configure rule-based workflows and approval processes.
• Develop and maintain MDG UI models, validations, derivations, and navigation elements.
• Configure and activate MDG components and modules across environments.
• Support data migration and data loads using tools such as Migration Cockpit (LTMC).
• Collaborate with business teams to define governance models, workflows, and data quality rules.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP experience, including strong expertise in SAP MDG.
• Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA (2019/2020/2023 or later).
• Hands-on experience in at least two MDG implementation projects plus support engagements.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, DRF, DIF/DEF, BRF+, and workflow configuration.
• Experience with ABAP enhancements in MDG.
• Knowledge of SAP SD/MM master data.
• Experience with MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing (MDG-M, MDG-C).
• Familiarity with Migration Cockpit (LTMC) and data migration tools.
• SAP BTP MDG Cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
