Systems Administrator – Hybrid (Old Greenwich, CT)

$130–150K Base

A growing financial services firm is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support its on-prem and virtual infrastructure. This hybrid role involves managing servers, VMware environments, networking, and physical hardware across office and datacenter locations. You’ll work closely with technical teams to strengthen systems, improve security, and support daily operations.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Windows, Linux, VMware, and network systems
• Support physical server hardware and datacenter equipment
• Assist with IT security, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
• Handle and prioritize support requests

What You Need

• Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, MFA
• Linux administration skills
• VMware vSphere knowledge
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
• Scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Hands-on hardware experience

Nice to Have

• 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure roles
• Degree in IT or related field
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or automation tools like Ansible
