The Battle Management Software mission is to provide world class Software for our customers' wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. BMS software team in Ft. Wayne IN is looking to add a Software Engineer to their development team.
We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.
What You Will Do- Participation in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with systems and Software, Integration and Test (SI&T) Engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, Python, Ada, or similar.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret issued security clearance is required.
Qualifications We Prefer- Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
- Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems.
- Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
