Job Description:
Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Payrate: $60.00 - 65.06/hr
Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
Performs proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Utilizes multiple architectural patterns/components in design and delivery of solutions
Documents and communications required information for deployment, maintenance, and support of business functionality
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in software development
UI: Angular and at least one of the following - HTML/JavaScript/Typescript/CSS
Services: Java, Spring Boot Microservices and at least one of the following - Spring Security and Authentication, Hibernate/JPA
Testing: Junit, and either Mockito or Jasmine
Platform tools: at least one of the following - Jenkins, Git, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, RHEL
Persistence: SQL, Oracle
Packaging and deploying services via WAR files, Integration with downstream systems via RESTful and SOAP interfaces.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree
Experience with Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, OpenShift
Keep up to date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
Solid understanding of containerization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
