MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Boardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, the Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed-use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California. Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage commercial real estate located in core, coastal markets in California.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of Flower Hill Promenade. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting systems, and executing repairs across multiple trades. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the property at the highest standards of excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical and carpentry work. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure proper operation and safety. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to minimize downtime. Execute preventive maintenance programs to extend the life and efficiency of property systems. Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues and safety hazards. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects when needed. The ability to manage a work order pipeline in a facility management platform. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory. Ensure all maintenance work complies with applicable safety standards and building codes. Keep maintenance areas, workshops, and storage spaces clean and organized. Collaborate closely with property management and other team members to prioritize maintenance needs. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally. Report and recommend opportunities for system improvements or property enhancements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2- 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and tools.Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment or materials.Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to move heavy materials or equipment as required.
