Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred
• Must have:
o 8+ years of experience with Java (J2EE) and supported frameworks (SpringBoot, Hibernate, etc).
o 3+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services service offerings
o Integration software and web service development experience (REST, SOAP, etc.)
o Hands on experience in developing micro services
o Good understanding of the full software development life cycle including agile development, test-driven development and continuous integration.
o Experience designing and interacting with relational databases and writing SQL queries
o Experience in using AI tools like Copilot, Claude etc in SDLC
• Nice to have:
o 3+ years of experience in Apache Kafka, writing Producers and Consumers
o Experience working on Kubernetes, Docker, and CICD tools
o Experience in designing solutions using one or more AWS features, tools and technologies such as EC2, EBS, Glacier, S3, ELB, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS, AWS CLI etc
o Experience using a version control system such as GIT
o Willingness to rapidly learn new technologies and advocate for emerging technologies that will enhance the existing environment
o Experience in Retail and CPG domain
o Experience and understanding of in Production support, maintenance processes, Service Level management
o Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

o Design, build, test and support individual features with quality and performance in mind.
o Report status of progress and challenges in timely and accurate fashion using available tools and metrics
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
