Summary

Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to leaddaily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Thishands-on leadership role is responsible for production scheduling, shop floorexecution, employee direction, material flow, equipment readiness, shippingsupport, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Operations Supervisor will work closely with ProductionLeads, Quality, Engineering, Receiving, Inspection, EH&S, andadministrative teams to identify and resolve issues, maintain production flow,and ensure customer commitments are met.

Job Summary
  • Lead daily production activities and establish priorities based on customer requirements, schedules, materials, labor, and equipment availability.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to production employees and leads.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively address bottlenecks, staffing constraints, material shortages, and schedule risks.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor and ensure adherence to work instructions, procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate production travelers, documentation, schedule updates, and order requirements.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve production and quality issues and support root-cause and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and outside service providers.
  • Support material flow, receiving, inventory, shipping, carrier coordination, and on-time shipment execution.
  • Promote safety, EH&S, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources and escalate significant production, quality, safety, equipment, material, or delivery risks.
  • Lead the annual physical inventory process and support inventory accuracy.
  • Perform other operational and supervisory duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Aerospace, precision manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or other quality-driven manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and manage production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Experience with manufacturing travelers, work instructions, production documentation, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience coordinating equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material flow.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across Production, Quality, Engineering, EH&S, Receiving, Inspection, and administrative functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
Required Experience and Education
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility.

Base Compensation: USD 80,000.00 - 90,000.00Paid Salaried
