Data Center Technician- I&A Logistiscs Support

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Manassas, VA that is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support. The Data Center Technician will monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.

Job Responsibilities:
* Performs assigned Logistics/Warehouse Support tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations
* Seeks guidance from management before proceeding with the next step of a process
* Performs data entry to document inbound and outbound packages. Executes incoming/outgoing deliveries as instructed by management (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities)
* Ensures accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as records
* Performs cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met
* Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED and 1+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or data center environment
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Strong attention to detail with documentation and data entry

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
