Job Title: Data Management Business Analyst - Investment Banking
Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week
Contract Length: 12+ months (likely extension)
Rate: $50-60/hr (depending on years of experience)
Top Requirements:5+ years BA experience supporting data integration/data programs in financial servicesInvestment Banking / Capital Markets background (Markets preferred)Strong requirements gathering - business + technical data requirementsExperience working with senior stakeholders in regulated environmentsProcess & data flow diagram experiencePlusses:Markets data across asset classesData governance / data quality / lineage exposureEnterprise data transformation programsVisio, Confluence, JiraJob Summary:This consultant will support a strategic data integration initiative focused on standardizing and streamlining data feeds from multiple front-, middle-, and back-office systems into approved enterprise data sources. The role will partner closely with Market & Counterparty Risk stakeholders and data providers to translate business needs into structured business and technical data requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Partner with risk consumers and data providers to define and document business and technical data requirements
- Ensure alignment with approved system-of-record and enterprise data sources
- Create and maintain business process flow and data flow diagrams
- Support senior project leads with working sessions, executive materials, and stakeholder communications
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
