Title: Oracle APEX & Forms Developer

Location: Remote

Contract: Long-Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications, data structures, architecture, and integrations.

Migrate and modernize legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX.

Design and develop user-friendly APEX interfaces and establish UI/UX standards.

Develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and complex SQL queries.

Perform SQL debugging, performance tuning, data analysis, and testing.

Implement application security, roles, and authorization models.

Integrate web services and support Oracle database applications.

Participate in requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Prepare technical and functional documentation, reports, and weekly status updates.

Support release management, production deployments, and knowledge transfer to IT staff.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Oracle APEX.

Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, preferably Oracle Database 19c.

Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD.

Strong understanding of database design and data modeling.

Experience integrating web services.

Experience with SQL performance tuning, debugging, and testing in Oracle and SQL Server.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience migrating or modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications.

Exposure to XML, HTML, Java, PL/SQL APIs, and SOA architecture.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience supporting regulatory, environmental, or mission-critical applications.

Previous Commonwealth of Pennsylvania project experience is a plus.
