About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS & SAP QM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production planning, scheduling, and quality management processes within SAP. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting SAP PPDS solutions while ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP PPDS Responsibilities:
Configure and implement SAP PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) modules according to business requirements.
Collaborate with production, planning, and supply chain teams to optimize production schedules and resource utilization.
Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
Perform master data setup, including material, BOMs, work centers, routings, and production versions.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for PPDS processes.
Integrate PPDS with other SAP modules such as SAP APO, SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, and FI/CO.
SAP QM Responsibilities:
Implement and configure SAP QM modules to ensure product quality standards are maintained.
Design and manage quality inspections, quality notifications, and quality control plans.
Support SAP QM integration with production processes and other SAP modules (PP, MM, SD).
Monitor quality data and generate reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and propose corrective actions.
Provide end-user training and documentation for SAP QM processes.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Ensure alignment between production planning schedules and quality control measures.
Participate in SAP upgrades, testing, and system enhancements.
Provide support during audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience (7-10 years) as SAP PPDS & SAP QM consultant.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PPDS and QM modules.
Experience with production planning, detailed scheduling, and quality management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
SAP certification in PPDS, QM, or S/4HANA is a plus.
