Location: Denver CO - Onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, optimizing large datasets, and developing cloud-based data solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with SQL, Apache Spark, and AWS in a production environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in SQL for complex query development, performance tuning, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark or Spark SQL) for large-scale data processing.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing and big data technologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
