Job Title: Data Governance Lead
Location: Spring, TX (Onsite)

Reruired Knowledge / Skills

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, processes, standards, and best practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.

  • Hands-on experience with data management tools such as Collibra and database platforms including Snowflake.

  • Ability to create and modify basic SQL queries.

  • Experience editing Wiki and HTML pages.

  • Experience setting up SharePoint Lists.

  • Ability to edit and maintain Power BI reports.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders, simplify complex data concepts, and promote data governance initiatives across the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues, discrepancies, and anomalies.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a comprehensive data governance framework.

  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations to ensure compliance and protect sensitive business data.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, business operations, and Governance teams to implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

  • Proficiency with Zoom, Mural, and Draw.io, with the ability to independently lead, facilitate, and host meetings and workshops.
