Job Description

We are seeking a Pega Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple technologies and design techniques and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and improve secure and resilient software within Agile frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using modern toolsets.


• Apply multiple design techniques and contribute to architecture discussions.


• Work within Agile methodologies and contribute to ceremonies and delivery.


• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices with a focus on Test Driven Development.


• Build cloud-native solutions with attention to resiliency and security.


• Collaborate across software engineering disciplines including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting

* Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance

* Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications

* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation

* Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity

* Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems

* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

* Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software

* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

* Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques

* Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

* Good understanding of PL/SQL
