Senior Guidewire Developer (Contract)

Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week (GTA or Guelph, ON)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer to join a high-impact Digital Technology team on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in building modern, API-driven insurance solutions, with a strong focus on Guidewire integrations and digital platforms.
This project is centered on embedded insurance for Home and Auto products, enabling seamless integration of insurance offerings into partner ecosystems and digital channels. You'll be contributing to innovative solutions that are transforming how insurance products are distributed and experienced.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and support Guidewire integrations, primarily within PolicyCenter
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and Edge API integrations supporting digital and embedded insurance capabilities
• Contribute to the delivery of embedded Home and Auto insurance solutions within partner platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality API solutions
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting
• Ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices and enterprise architecture standards
• Support ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and integration testing

What You Bring

• Extensive experience as a Senior Guidewire Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with the Guidewire Integration Framework
• Proven expertise in REST APIs and Edge APIs
• Solid experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded insurance or digital distribution models
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital platforms
• Background in insurance or financial services, ideally with Home and Auto exposure
• Prior Co-op Guidewire experience
