Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of scalable data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Databricks and AWS cloud services and will work closely with engineering and analytics teams to enable reliable data workflows.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2, EMR, and CloudWatch
Build and optimize data pipelines, data processing workflows, and data integrations
Support data governance, security, and access control within Databricks environments
Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and platform teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Assist with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, notebooks, clusters)
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2, EMR)
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows
Programming experience in Python and SQL
Understanding of cloud data architecture and data engineering best practices

Nice to Have:

Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines
Experience with R / Posit Workbench environments

Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
