SAP Opentext VIM Consultant

Role Description The SAP Opentext VIM Consultant role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Opentext Vendor Invoice Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand invoice processing requirements, map them to SAP and VIM functionalities, and develop optimized workflows. Daily activities include system configuration, integration testing, troubleshooting issues, managing master data relevant to invoice processing, and creating documentation and user training materials. The role also involves analyzing existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities, advising on best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional IT and business teams to ensure smooth solution delivery and support. The consultant will participate in implementation projects, enhancements, and ongoing production support to maintain a stable and efficient VIM environment.
Qualifications
 
Strong analytical skills to assess invoice processing requirements, optimize workflows, and troubleshoot complex SAP Opentext VIM issues.
Consulting experience, including stakeholder collaboration, requirement gathering, solution design, and presentation of recommendations to business and IT partners.
Solid understanding of business processes related to Accounts Payable, invoice management, and ERP workflows, with the ability to translate them into SAP and VIM configurations.
Experience managing master data and ensuring data integrity within SAP environments, especially in relation to vendors, invoices, and related financial objects.
Hands-on expertise with integration between SAP Opentext VIM and core SAP modules (such as FI/CO, MM) and familiarity with related interfaces and APIs.
Proven experience as an SAP Opentext VIM Consultant or SAP functional consultant with VIM exposure, including full-cycle implementation or major enhancement projects.
Working knowledge of general SAP architecture, configuration, and transport management; familiarity with incident and change management processes.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to document solutions clearly and deliver end-user training in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
