About the RoleWe are seeking a
Software Engineer to support the
Information Security IAM Metrics & Reporting team. This role is focused on building, maintaining, decommissioning, and modernizing reporting solutions, with a primary emphasis on
migrating approximately 400 reports from Tableau to Power BI.
You will play a critical role in day-to-day reporting operations, issue resolution, and responding to urgent leadership data requests. This position contributes to broader
data transformation and modernization efforts, supporting a data-driven and highly automated cybersecurity organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, maintain, and decommission Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Lead and execute migration of reporting assets from Tableau to Power BI (including Power BI Fabric).
- Support metric and data reporting from multiple data sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data quality issues.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights as priorities evolve.
- Respond quickly to time-sensitive leadership requests for data and reporting.
- Contribute to large-scale planning and moderately complex software engineering initiatives aligned with the cyber data strategy.
- Support continuous improvement in reporting automation and standardization.
Minimum Qualifications- 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent experience through work, education, training, or military service).
- 3-4 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or data engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development and maintenance.
- Experience with Power BI Fabric.
- Proven experience migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL preferred).
- Experience working with data from multiple enterprise systems.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications- Python for automation or data processing.
- Experience with Tableau report development.
- Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub).
- Experience with workflow, documentation, and agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience using Alteryx.
