Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Project Manager III on behalf of our client in Woodlawn, MD. This role supports multiple initiatives within a large federal environment, focusing on infrastructure and system integration projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, technical acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support multiple technical initiatives, including server, storage, network, and database integration
  • Develop and maintain project deliverables such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, scope, and communication plans
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings; document and distribute meeting minutes
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership
  • Maintain project documentation and artifacts within SharePoint
  • Update and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, and tracking mechanisms
  • Generate and maintain project status reports and performance documentation
  • Create and update network and application diagrams using Visio
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication
  • Support requirements gathering sessions and translate findings into structured documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical projects in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience developing lifecycle documentation (e.g., requirements, design specifications, use cases, and test cases)
  • At least 4 years of experience leading requirements discovery sessions with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with federal contract frameworks (e.g., GSA, SEWP)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in federal, government, or large-scale corporate environments
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Strong technical writing and documentation review skills
