Job Description:
Payroll Administrator II

Location: New Braunfels, Texas (Onsite 5 days/week)

Duration: 4-5 month Contract

Role Overview

This position is responsible for performing moderately complex payroll processing tasks, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of wages to employees. This role provides support with the full payroll cycle, including reporting, auditing, and troubleshooting payroll issues, while serving as a resource for junior payroll staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and audit timekeeping data, employee records, and payroll transactions to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Enter, verify, and audit moderately complex employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions.
  • Maintain and update moderately complex payroll records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Address employee questions related to pay, taxes, timekeeping, and deductions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for moderately complex employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of payroll reports for managers, HR, and Accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, FLSA, and other regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications

Education: An associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. Consideration is given for work experience in lieu of education.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience with multi-state payroll processing is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Consideration is given to relevant related certification.
  • A valid driver's license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company's insurance provider.
