Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Search Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Apache Solr and Lucidworks to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale search solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in search technologies, performance tuning, and building scalable search platforms that deliver fast and accurate results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize search functionalities using Apache Solr and Lucidworks
• Configure and manage Solr instances for performance, scalability, and accuracy
• Build and maintain real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines to feed Solr indexes from multiple data sources
• Improve search relevance through query refinement, ranking algorithms, and tuning
• Perform query analysis and optimization
• Monitor Solr performance, health, logs, and conduct regular maintenance
• Handle Solr upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations
• Build highly scalable and efficient search systems to enhance user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve search-related production issues

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr and Lucidworks
• Strong understanding of search architectures and indexing strategies
• Experience working with large-scale data and custom search solutions
• Strong background in search technologies and data processing
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring of search platforms

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of Apache Spark
• Experience in digital/search-driven platforms
