Summary

Position Title: FAS Solution Architect
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - 2days/week onsite work required)
Interview: Video
Position Type: Contract

We are looking for an experienced FAS Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for a new Fiscal Agent Services solution supporting a Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead solution architecture, technical design and architectural reviews.
Design integrations, APIs, data flows and system interfaces.
Provide guidance on Azure/AWS cloud architecture and modernization.
Work with business stakeholders, vendors, developers and cybersecurity teams.
Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation and roadmaps.
Ensure solutions align with CMS, MITA, HIPAA, NIST and enterprise architecture standards.
Support integration across Medicaid modules including Eligibility, Provider Services, Pharmacy, Third-Party Liability and Data Warehousing.

Required:

10+ years of solution/enterprise architecture experience.
Medicaid, MMIS or MES experience.
MITA and CMS experience
Strong Healthcare Experience
Strong cloud experience with Azure or AWS.
Strong enterprise integration, API and data architecture experience.
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.

Preferred:

Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, X12, FHIR, Java, Node.js, Angular, React or Python.
Experience with ETL, relational databases and legacy systems.
