Oracle Cloud Manufacturing QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud QA Engineer with deep expertise in the Manufacturing domain. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing applications. You will design and execute test scripts focused on production processes, inventory, and supply chain workflows. Working closely with supply chain analysts and developers, you will ensure our system effectively supports our shop floor operations and scales with our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Module Testing: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans for Oracle Cloud Manufacturing, covering both Discrete and Process manufacturing workflows.

Core Functionality Validation: Test critical manufacturing processes, including Work Orders, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, Work Centers, and Inventory Management.

Integration Testing: Validate end-to-end data flow between Oracle Cloud Manufacturing and other core modules (such as Procurement, Order Management, Costing, and Quality Management) as well as external shop floor/MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

Quarterly Update Management: Lead regression testing cycles during Oracle’s quarterly patch releases to ensure continuous, uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Data & Reporting: Validate OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher reports specific to manufacturing KPIs (e.g., yield, scrap, WIP inventory).

Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, working collaboratively with the implementation team to resolve issues before they impact the production floor.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of QA testing experience, with at least 1-2 years dedicated to testing Oracle Cloud SCM and Manufacturing modules.

Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts, shop floor operations, inventory control, and supply chain business processes.

Technical Skills: * Experience with test automation frameworks suited for Oracle Cloud (e.g., OATS, Selenium, Opkey).

Understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) for validating third-party system integrations.

Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between IT and shop floor users.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with specialized IoT devices or external Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Oracle Cloud SCM or Manufacturing Certifications.

Experience with automated testing tools purpose-built for Oracle (like Tricentis or Opkey).
