Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Engineer with strong expertise in POS systems and retail integrations. The ideal candidate will have 5 8 years of hands-on experience working with Front Systems POS or similar retail POS platforms in enterprise retail environments.

This role focuses on POS configuration, integrations with enterprise applications, production support, and enabling smooth store operations across a multi-brand retail ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and support Front Systems POS or similar retail POS platforms
  • Design and maintain integrations between POS and enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, eCommerce, inventory, and loyalty platforms
  • Support end-to-end retail technology implementations and store rollouts
  • Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot POS/integration issues
  • Monitor system stability and ensure smooth retail operations
  • Work closely with business, operations, and technical teams to deliver retail solutions
  • Support omnichannel retail workflows including order management, returns, promotions, and inventory synchronization
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5 8 years of experience in Retail Technology / POS Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Front Systems POS or similar POS platforms
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Store operations
    • Checkout workflows
    • Promotions & discounts
    • Omnichannel retail processes
  • Experience with:
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • JSON/XML
    • Middleware/integration tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
Technical Skills
  • SQL and database knowledge
  • Experience with POS integrations and transaction flows
  • Cloud platform familiarity (Azure/AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge of retail enterprise systems and integrations
  • Understanding of inventory, loyalty, and payment integrations
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong collaboration across business and technical teams
Preferred Experience
  • Multi-brand retail environment exposure
  • Store rollout and deployment experience
