Job Title: Specialist- Expert
Job Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Support the maintenance and enterprise integration of critical GIS datasets within an enterprise environment.
  • Manage geometry, event, and attribute updates to GIS data.
  • Perform data quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and execute database queries and reporting using enterprise database systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for data integration and management.
  • Provide progress reporting and ensure data stability throughout the lifecycle.
  • Support the transition of dataset ownership to designated stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data operations and integration.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise database management and GIS systems.
  • Experience working with large-scale GIS datasets and enterprise environments.
  • Experience with database querying and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance GIS datasets within enterprise systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy through QA/QC processes.
  • Develop and manage database queries and reports.
  • Support data integration and migration activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for data management and transition.

Should Have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex datasets and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Skills:

  • Expertise in enterprise database systems and querying techniques.
  • Knowledge of GIS data management and linear referencing.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
