Job Title: Senior DotNet Developer

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

This role oversees programming, implementation, and maintenance revisions of assigned projects while ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with business and IT strategies.
The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic technology initiatives and large client programs involving multiple interfaces and system modifications.

Experience:

10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 years of software development experience.
5 years of hands-on programming experience in database and data-driven applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain scalable and reliable software architecture for claims-related applications.
Ensure software scalability, data integrity, and compatibility with overall business and IT strategies.
Identify and direct strategies for maintaining data and application integration.
Collaborate with management and technical teams to develop overall system designs and define strategic technology initiatives.
Consult with project managers to stay informed of active and upcoming projects and identify overlapping efforts.
Assist in implementing large client programs involving multiple interfaces or system modifications.
Review software change requests to identify duplication, similarities, and feasibility, and recommend appropriate actions.
Provide recommendations for prioritization of tactical and strategic change requests.
Assist in projecting software and hardware requirements for applications.
Support organizational quality programs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight when managing analyst/programmers.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies.
Expertise in specification development, security practices, application modularization, and logical design.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Management, or related field preferred.
Master s degree strongly preferred.
