Solutions (Application) Architect
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications. You'll lead architecture initiatives, mentor teams, and ensure secure, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise architecture strategies and frameworks.
- Design and review microservices-based applications (Kubernetes, AWS).
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver solutions on time and budget.
- Author/review architecture documents, diagrams, and technical designs.
- Guide teams on code quality, performance, scalability, and security.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and resilience.
Must-Haves
- 10+ years IT experience, including 3+ years as an architect.
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
- Mastery of Java, Golang, or Python.
- Strong AWS cloud and AWS security experience.
- Exposure to DevOps practices.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of auth/auth standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Familiarity with TOGAF, service mesh, TechRadar.
- Experience with mobile, OCPP protocol, or ML modeling.
