BIM Drafter 

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Drafter to support the design and development of construction projects. This role will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and design teams to produce accurate construction drawings and 3D building models using Revit and other drafting tools.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating construction documents, coordinating building systems, and supporting retail or commercial building projects within a collaborative design environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed construction drawings and documentation for retail and commercial building projects

• Develop 3D building models using Revit for architectural and construction coordination

• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and as-built drawings

• Assist with BIM coordination and model management throughout project lifecycles

• Support project teams with drafting revisions, markups, and design updates

• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders

• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable building codes

• Review and organize project documentation, specifications, and submittals

• Assist with space planning, layout updates, and retail prototype modifications

• Maintain accurate file management and version control for project documentation

• Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Support field teams with drawing clarifications and construction-related updates as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting or BIM modeling experience within commercial, retail, or construction environments

• Proficiency with Revit for 3D modeling and construction documentation

• Experience creating detailed construction drawings and drafting packages

• Understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation practices

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
