CTG is seeking to fill a Vibe Coding Engineer (Generative AI) - Entry Level position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:- Build rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, internal tools, and AI-powered applications using modern software development practices and Generative AI technologies.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar platforms to accelerate software development and experimentation.
- Develop full-stack applications and services using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Golang.
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Design and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled application components.
- Experiment with AI orchestration patterns and emerging developer tools to transform ideas into functional solutions quickly.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to understand requirements and develop innovative prototypes.
- Use Git and GitHub for source control, collaboration, and code management.
- Test, troubleshoot, refine, and document prototypes and applications.
- Stay current with emerging Generative AI technologies, frameworks, coding assistants, and development methodologies.
Skills:- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Node.js.
- Experience with React and/or Next.js.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and Git/GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
- Understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, AI agents, and MCP.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and experiment with emerging tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for Generative AI, rapid prototyping, and AI-assisted software development.
Experience:- 0-2 years of professional software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience building software projects, prototypes, applications, or proof-of-concepts using modern development technologies.
- Experience using AI coding assistants or Generative AI tools to enhance software development is strongly preferred.
- Academic, personal, internship, open-source, or project-based experience may be considered in lieu of extensive professional experience.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Equivalent education, training, coursework, or demonstrated technical experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $114,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
