Location: Denver, CO – (1 day onsite & 4 days Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, test case design, defect management, debugging, performance testing, and test data analysis.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, API, exploratory, and performance testing.
  • Develop automation using Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, or similar tools.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects.
  • Debug issues using Google DevTools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Design realistic performance and load test scenarios, including user journeys and data parameterization.
  • Perform database validation using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Analyze test requirements, production data, quality risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Use tools such as Zephyr Scale, GitLab, Jira, or similar platforms for test and defect management.
  • Apply testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, and Exploratory Testing.
  • Proactively identify quality issues early in the SDLC.
  • Collaborate with developers, business teams, system personnel, and management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing principles.
  • Experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Java, and/or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with API, regression, functional, exploratory, and performance testing.
  • Experience with k6 or similar performance testing tools.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of test data management and data governance.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
