Business Analyst Responsibilities (50% of role)
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Translating business needs into technical search solutions

Agile / Leadership Component
- Ability to act as a project lead within SAFe Agile
- Run or actively participate in scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retros)
- Coordinate and drive testing activities (UAT, test coordination, validation)

Position Location (fully onsite, hybrid, fully remote): hybrid (3 in office, 2 remote)

Austin TX second preference
Working Hours (including time zone): if Chandler, 8 5 MST, if Austin 8 5 CST. May need to flex depending on meetings with other time zones

Job Description: As the Business Analyst for AI Driven Search initiatives, you will act as the bridge between business, IT, and development teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, solutions align with the modernization objectives enhancing system reliability, scalability, and performance. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance search experiences and report on KPIs related to search performance and customer engagement.
Day to Day Responsibilities: You will lead digital transformation projects using Scaled Agile, gathering requirements, shaping solution designs, and guiding development through testing and deployment. Maintain Project Plans, Monitor Progress, Coordinate work across teams, Prepare and present status, Track Risks and Dependencies, Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies, Work closely with the IT Architects and Development Leads preparing the backlog and development plan, Support Testing activities
Required Technical Skills: (listed in order of importance): knowledge of enterprise search technologies and AI/ML concepts, along with strong experience in business analysis, Agile project management, and the full software development lifecycle.
BonPreferred Skills: Familiarity with Jira, UX principles
Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, organized, problem-solving, collaboration critical thinking
Education/Certifications: A bachelor s degree at a minimum is required.
