Job Description –
A Facets Generalist is a healthcare payer professional who possesses functional and technical knowledge across multiple modules of the Facets platform rather than specializing in a single area. They support configuration, business analysis, testing, implementation, and production support activities across the Facets ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Facets solutions.
- Configure and maintain Facets modules including:
- Claims
- Membership/Enrollment
- Provider
- Billing
- Customer Service
- Support end-to-end healthcare payer processes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Facets functionality and workflows.
- Experience with healthcare payer operations.
- Understanding of:
- Claims adjudication
- Member enrollment
- Provider management
- Premium billing
- Benefits configuration
- Knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).
- SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.
- Experience with testing methodologies and defect management.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of Facets experience.
- Experience in healthcare payer implementation or support projects.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to Facets integrations and reporting tools.
