Principal Java Engineer

Position Title: Principal Java Engineer 
Location: PA - Pittsburgh, OH - Strongsville, TX - Dallas, AL - Birmingham
Work Status : 5 Days Onsite 
Duration : Contract to Hire
Years Of Experience Required : 15+
Industry Background: Finance / Banking 

Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Lead the team on day-to-day basis. 
•    Leading the agile crew in 2 week sprints. 
•    Heavily involved and highly engaged with stakeholders as well as product team and external 
•    teams. 
•    Guiding the team to make technical decisions. 
•    Working with the solution architects to review solution designs and provide approval. 
•    Responsible for deployment activities. 
•    Not a hands on development role on day-to-day basis, however needs to be able to jump in and 
•    do hands on development if situation arises

 

Must Have Technical Skills:
•    Must have at least 3-5 years of lead experience and 10+ years of overall industry experience. 
•    Programing language: Java (primary) & JavaScript (would be a plus) 
•    Jenkins 
•    Jira 
•    GitHub 
•    Confluence 
•    OpenShift platform 
•    uDeploy
•    Authentication Domain Knowledge
