Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Developer with strong MHub experience to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, metadata-driven architecture, and experience working with MHub (Metadata Hub) for data governance, lineage, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL pipelines (GDE, Co>Operating System)
• Build and manage MHub (Metadata Hub) solutions for data lineage, governance, and metadata management
• Develop scalable and high-performance data processing systems
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Implement data validation, data quality, and transformation logic
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and system architecture
• Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
• Co>Operating System
• EME (Enterprise Meta Environment)
• Proven experience with MHub (Metadata Hub)

Strong understanding of:

• Data warehousing concepts
• ETL/ELT design patterns
• Data modeling (dimensional & relational)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking / Financial Services
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management frameworks
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data migration or modernization projects
