Electronic Technician to support the repair, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic and electronic warfare-related systems. In this role, you will work with complex mission-critical equipment, utilizing industry-standard test instruments and diagnostic techniques to ensure system reliability and performance.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electronics, enjoys hands-on technical work, and is comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
What You'll Do - Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies and components.
- Perform wiring, component replacement, and repair of electronic assemblies.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electronic test equipment and test stations.
- Use diagnostic and test equipment, including:
- Spectrum Analyzers
- Network Analyzers
- Oscilloscopes
- Curve Tracers
- Signal Generators
- Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
- Troubleshoot electronic systems to the component level and identify corrective actions.
- Execute engineering tests and support experimental testing activities.
- Perform calibration verification and functional checks on electronic instruments.
- Interpret schematics, diagrams, sketches, technical documentation, and work instructions.
- Follow established testing procedures, quality standards, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support program requirements.
Minimum Qualifications - Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent military electronics training.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, or similar instruments.
- Ability to identify common electronic components and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to follow technical procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work various shifts as business needs require.
- Ability to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a laboratory or production environment.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and subassemblies.
- Experience tuning and testing microwave assemblies.
- Experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
- Soldering experience and familiarity with electronic assembly and rework techniques.
- Previous experience working in a highly regulated aerospace, defense, aviation, or electronics manufacturing environment.
