As a Civil Engineer - Land Development Forensic Expert , you will :

Investigate civil engineering - land development incidents.
Analyze procedures, applying your comprehensive knowledge of standards and practices.
Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
Provide expert testimony.

You will delve into the \"why\" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. This role offers you a chance to:

Location: Miami Lakes/Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Atlanta, GA, ColumbDublin, OH, Lancaster, PA (hybrid)

Requirements :

Licensure: Active P.E. license.
Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
Experience: 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or extensive site/civil/heavy construction project management; safety requirements and issues on construction sites; design experience and a thorough working knowledge of contracts, safety, construction means & methods, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor management, & quality control.
Additional Experience a Plus: Experience in community development or residential land development is preferred; experience in commercial land development, commercial construction, single-family home construction, commercial recreational construction, and/or heavy construction is a plus.
Skills: Excellent technical and analytical skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability: You can safely climb/navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. for inspection activities.
Work Style: Approximately 20% travel for inspections; the remainder is focused on analysis and report drafting, working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.

You must have a clean background screen, a driver's license, and the ability to drive.
