Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Onsite SME (Delivery Leader) to lead Agile delivery teams responsible for building and enhancing enterprise applications and services. This role will own end-to-end delivery quality while driving the adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, quality, and delivery predictability.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and well-governed software solutions while mentoring teams and ensuring delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onsite delivery of enterprise applications, services, and software components, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across requirements analysis, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and release management.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency, code quality, and team productivity.
- Define and enforce delivery standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for consistent and predictable project execution.
- Ensure robust validation processes, quality gates, unit testing, and integration testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product management, solution architects, engineering, and operations teams to ensure production-ready solutions.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, manage dependencies, and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Mentor and coach development teams on Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and AI-driven software development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience leading delivery for enterprise-grade applications and software services.
- Hands-on experience managing Agile delivery teams using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for planning, analysis, documentation, and software quality improvement.
- Proven expertise in delivery governance, project planning, risk management, and executive status reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in issue identification, root-cause analysis, and resolution management.
- Experience with release planning, dependency management, and coordinating multiple teams or workstreams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering enterprise solutions on Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to complex system integrations and distributed application environments.
- Experience coordinating large-scale programs involving multiple teams and geographically distributed resources.
- Familiarity with production readiness, deployment planning, and operational handoffs.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, quality assurance, and audit controls.
- Previous experience as an SME, Delivery Lead, or Technical Lead in enterprise environments.
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise software products in manufacturing, distribution, or business applications is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
